Schneider Electric is seeking a Plant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Plant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of customer orders and projects.
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
What will you do?
• Reviewing customer order quotes and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Managing data entry and change orders for order features.
• Coordinating and level loading plants' capacity to meet customer demands.
• Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure project milestones and timelines are met.
• Coordinating with other plants as necessary to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Providing customers with the best dates for approval drawings and ship dates, ensuring customer satisfaction.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management is required.
• Knowledge of SQL and other data base tools.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
• Ability to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager II to support the planning and execution of product development and enhancement projects within the Consumables and Laboratory Automation portfolio. This role is ideal for a developing project manager who can manage multiple workstreams with moderate supervision and guidance from more senior project leaders.
As a Project Manager II, you will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with portfolio priorities. You will contribute to R&D initiatives, product launches, and ongoing portfolio improvements while following established project management processes and governance.
From day one, you will play an active role in supporting project execution and improving team coordination, with opportunities to grow your leadership responsibility over time.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage cross-functional project teams including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Finance
- Plan and track project scope, schedules, resources, and budgets using standard project management tools and methodologies
- Identify project risks and issues, escalating as needed and supporting mitigation plans
- Ensure projects follow the Waters established governance framework, quality standards, and lifecycle processes
- Communicate project status, milestones, and risks clearly to project teams and stakeholders including leadership reviews using standard reporting tools.
- Serve as a reliable point of coordination to keep teams aligned and moving toward common objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field ideally chemistry or engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific or project management role
- At least 3 years of experience coordinating or supporting cross-functional teams toward shared goals
- Foundational project management training; PMP or similar certification is a plus
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management tools
- Familiarity with SAP and ISO 9000 quality systems is a plus
